We had a great showing from our ward for Race for the Cure. We did breakfast "To Go" at Cami's house and posed for a group photo. Then we left for the race.
You could feel the emotions of the crowd.
Lots of banners, pictures and "In Memory of" or "In Celebration of" on people's backs.
It took several minutes or longer depending on where you were in the crowd to start moving once the race started.
As you came up to go around the bend in the road all you could see in front of or behind you was an ocean of people as far as the eye could see. It was unbelievable.
What a feeling of accomplishment when you crossed the finish line.
Thanks Cami for being so inspired...hope you're ready to do it again next year with more people and cooler t-shirts!
