Thank you to those who did so much work to organize and plan our ward campout. Although we were few in number, those who were able to attend had a wonderful time! The campsite up Big Cottonwood Canyon was beautiful. There was a full moon and the trees were just beginning to turn their fall colors.
The kids had a great time with a nature scavenger hunt, some real fossils were found!! We were entertained with a Book of Mormon reenactment. Who knew we had such great actors in our ward? Then it was time for smores and singing around the campfire. We all retired and made it through quite a chilly night. We were awakened by some very interesting noises that turned out to be 3 large moose moseying through the camp. They made their way past every tent, and ended up grazing in an open area for about 15 minutes. They had frost on their backs, so you know it was cold!

Then it was time for BREAKFAST! YUM! We wish you all could have been there, and again, we thank our activities committee for their work and dedication, for our enjoyment!!!
